Majida Sabeen Ahmad is a former visa officer and a licensed Level 3 Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB) in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). She is authorized to represent clients before Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB).
As an active member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) and the Immigration Consultants Network (ICN), Sabeen remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and continuing education within the immigration consulting profession.
Sabeen brings over 20 years of diverse experience in immigration and case processing. Prior to becoming an RCIC, she served as a Visa Officer at the Norwegian Embassy and as a Casework Officer at the British High Commission, gaining valuable insight into visa assessment and decision-making processes. This unique combination of government and consulting experience provides her with a comprehensive understanding of immigration systems and how applications are evaluated.
Having immigrated twice, first to the United States and later to Canada, Sabeen understands firsthand the challenges, uncertainties, and opportunities that newcomers face when building a new life in a different country. Her personal immigration journey enables her to connect with clients on a deeper level and provide practical, compassionate guidance throughout the immigration process.
In addition, Sabeen volunteered for eight years as a Natural Helper at an immigrant welcome centre in the United States, assisting newcomers with settlement, integration, and access to community resources. This experience further strengthened her commitment to helping immigrants achieve their goals and successfully adapt to life in a new country.
Sabeen assists individuals, families, students, workers, entrepreneurs, and refugee claimants with a broad range of Canadian immigration matters, including visitor visas, study permits, work permits, permanent residence applications, Express Entry, Permanent Resident Travel Documents (PRTDs), citizenship applications, and family sponsorships.
She is particularly experienced in complex immigration matters, including refugee claims, appeals before the Immigration Appeal Division (IAD), residency obligation appeals, and Immigration and Refugee Board proceedings. She has also worked closely with legal counsel on Federal Court judicial review matters, contributing to the preparation and management of complex immigration litigation files.
